Status: Adopted
Labrador Retriever Mix
Female / Spayed / Up to Date on Medical
This sweet senior girl was abandoned with some food and water in a park in Fontana just before Christmas. Fortunately, a wonderful couple rescued her and took her home. While they are unable to keep her permanently, they hope to find her a good home. She is very friendly and wants to socialize with people. She has had some ups and downs with the dogs she is currently living with, so it might be best if she's the only dog in the home. She has not been cat-tested. Other observations: she LOVES walks and tennis balls, she is playful, but also laid back. She is happy to hang out on her bed until she needs something (water, potty, etc) and she appears to be potty-trained. She prefers to hang with her people indoors. She is smart and learned to use the doggie door at her foster home quickly. She also enjoys car rides.
In short, for somebody that wants an indoor companion animal she is perfect. All she requires is a potty area that she has access to or can get access to with the help of a family member. Her preference would be somebody that wants to get a little exercise and take her walking but again, she is also content just laying around and playing with her tennis ball. She is pretty easy!
