Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with 4Life Rescue!
As our organization grows, we find ourselves in need of extra support. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, and we are always interested in unique and fun new ideas that will help garner attention for our rescued pets!

If you are interest in helping and are at least 18 years of age, please complete our Volunteer Questionnaire or email us at volunteer@4liferescue.org. We will contact you back within 48 hours. Youth volunteers under 18 years old can still help in a big way! Please review our youth volunteer information listed below.

We look forward to having you as part of the 4Life Family!

Youth Volunteers
Our volunteer opportunities require you to be at least 18 years of age, but we have several different ways that young people can be involved:
  • Go for a walk! Download the free ResQWalk app on your smartphone and turn it on before you go for a walk or a run. The app enables you to raise money for our rescue organization just by simply walking. Learn more at http://resqwalk.com/.
  • Help us get the word out there by sharing our events and adoptable animals on your social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Help us make poster boards, signs, and flyers for our adoptable animals and events
  • Bring flyers to local businesses and ask if you can display them
  • Organize a fundraiser at school, and see which class can collect the most change to donate
  • When it's time for your birthday or other special event, tell your friends and family to bring you donations for the animals instead of presents for yourself
  • Organize a garage sale, bake sale, lemonade stand, car wash, or other similar activity and donate the proceeds to the rescue animals
  • Ask your family to foster an animal
  • Make homemade dog toys, cat toys, blankets, etc.
